Being a real estate appraiser is a HUGE challenge right now.
Many property appraisers are:
- Not receiving orders
- At the mercy of amc’s
- Forced into retirement
- Reliant solely on lenders
- Unable to make ends meet
- Feeling alone, unsupported
- Struggling to get private work
- Forced into finding another job
- Dependent on low interest rates
- Frustrated, embarrassed, afraid of their future
- Unsure what will happen when the new UAD comes out
- Sick of impossible deadlines, high demands, and low fees
- Hate the idea of starting over
- Unsure what to do next
Lifting up fellow Appraisers
I have received so many messages asking for help, wanting to know how I built our private appraisal business up when so many others are struggling.
Because I know I have done things differently, and many appraisers are looking for alternatives.
And, as much as I love helping my peers succeed, it’s tough to do it all individually.
I’ve also been told that I should write a book.
But I really don’t think I would enjoy that process.
And life is too short to do things we don’t enjoy.
So here is what I have in mind….
The Zen Appraiser Community
Instead of talking to one person at a time on the phone…
I decided to create a space where I could share the exact steps I took to build a thriving appraisal business to help other appraisers also succeed…. instead of struggle.
(Hint: I’ll be sharing my secret marketing strategy)
The details are still being worked out…. But I can tell you this much:
I am approaching this in the same way that I approach our appraisal business.
My strategy is to always be different.
To find a need and fill the gaps.
And provide information and strategies that you cannot get somewhere else.
Most importantly, it will be affordable for everyone.
